About

Started as a one-man band subcontracting to other companies — grown into a construction company running full developments.

I started out as a one-man band, subcontracting to other companies doing carpentry and roofing. As demand for my own work grew, I took on a labourer and moved steadily from smaller jobs to bigger ones.

I now run B W Construction with a permanent team and access to all the trades throughout the whole build — taking projects all the way from finding and buying the land, through planning, to completion.

The Knebworth Renovation

Knebworth

A complete high-spec renovation taken back to brickwork before rebuilding: a side extension with double-bay garage, store and utility room, plus a steel-framed, mostly-glazed rear extension under a standing-seam zinc roof. Full roof overhaul, underpinning, all-new electrics and plumbing, underfloor heating and MVHR throughout, air conditioning.
